This apartment complex on the Postelse Hoeflaan in Tilburg consists of 100 residential units. In 2003, the Parkflat was taken over by investment company van der Weegen Tilburg, it is now owned by Nationaal Grondbezit (Nagron) in Rotterdam.
Everyone assumed that this was a 55 plus flat, which never was, however, only in the vernacular. A lot has changed over the years, and people often saw the flag hanging or half-mast here because the elderly or deceased or visited the nursing home.
In recent years it has therefore been a coming and going, and one even heard babies and small children crying, which is why many young people opted for such a restart home to be able to save further to buy a house after a few years, and that is why these apartments are still so popular.
There is a fanatical residents' committee that keeps a close eye on maintenance.
